The software, Personal Information System (PIS) will be a self-contained software product in its own right. The software will have a user friendly graphical user interface built with Microsoft Visual Basic 6.0 and will be using Microsoft SQL Server 2000 as the database. The package will be built on Client-Server technology with facilities to handle data in a multi-user environment with high-end transaction security.
The PIS system will streamline the flow of activities at the organisation by restricting the need for extensive paperwork and providing a systematic record of everyday activities concerning personnel |
